Welcome to randomengineering.com!
My name is Dave. I’m an electrical engineer by degree, and a controls engineer (what’s that, you ask?) by trade for the past 14 years. I think in “black and white” and “1’s and 0’s”. In my mind, everything is usually pretty clear and decisions are made in a logical, methodical fashion. Obviously, the world does not always operate that way (and that’s where I get in trouble).
That’s where randomengineering.com comes into play. It provides me the leeway to write about things I enjoy and how my engineering background affects my life. Hopefully some of the things I’ve learned along the way can help you, and I might learn a few things about myself along the way.
My interests include:

- Playing golf (when I can find time)
