I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention my allegiance to the Memphis Tigers. I’m an alum of the University of Memphis (formerly Memphis State University), and have been a “Super Tiger Fan” since I started college almost two decades ago. I say this just to give credibility to the fact that I’ll say I’m not a “fair-weather” fan.
If you’re not aware, the Tiger basketball team is currently ranked 2nd in the country, has one of the best point guards in the country, and is the most well-balanced, deep teams you’ll ever see. It’s a run-and-gun offense, tight defense, and non-stop coaching by John Calipari.
