I joined the linkedin.com website/craze this weekend. I’m not really sure why. I was invited several months ago by a friend who is much more into the online social networking scene than I am, but it turned into one of those emails that slips down into the Inbox oblivion.
Anyway, something prompted me to join it this weekend, so I did. I was surprised to see all the people, or “connections” that I know who were already “linked”. It made me feel as though I had been missing out this whole time. I immediately sent out invitations to all those folks, plus a few more who are now wondering “what has Dave gotten me in to?”.

My wife and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy almost two years ago. Life hasn’t been the same since, and I’m not exactly
sure I can remember what I did with all my time before my son was born. There’s always something to be done, and spare time to do the things I enjoy(ed) is limited.
I drive by a church everyday on the way to work, and on the sign out front there’s a saying that goes “Kids need their parent’s presence more than they need their parent’s presents.” This is a different way of saying “quantity is better than quality”. Kids don’t care what you’re doing with them, but that you ARE doing something with them.
