After watching a few of the speeches from the DNC, I was curious to learn a bit more about Obama. I found a great website that details the two candidates and their stance on each of the issues…

I took some time to finally sign up with Twitter yesterday. A buddy had invited me a while back, and I deleted that email as yet another invite to a social networking site that I don’t really need. But, I read an article in Wired magazine this week that sparked my interest again.
The “tweets” are posted here (in the first sidebar). Not sure at this point if my twittering will last, but we’ll give it a go.
I suppose if you’re reading this, you probably know me and odds are you’re not signed up on Twitter (based on my “followers”). If that’s the case, sign up at twitter.com and look me up. Please!
And, if you use a Blackberry, might I suggest a small app called Twitterberry. It makes it a whole lot easier to “tweet”, and uses the data service as opposed to SMS (text message), which can get rather expensive depending on your service provider and plan.

My best bud from college came by to visit today. He lives across the country, so it was nice to spend a few minutes with him and one of his little girls.
In the pic are (from left to right) his daughter, my buddy, my son, and the cool guy in the glasses is my nephew. What a crew.
